Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Immanuel Lutheran Church is in the community of Frankentrost at 8220 E. Holland Rd. (M-46), just five miles east of I-75 (exit 149A) and Saginaw, Michigan.
We are a sister community to Frankenmuth.
How about accessibility?
Our church and school are fully accessible. The outdoor “journey” follows a paved walkway and may involve walking in wintry conditions. While snow and ice are possible, mobility equipment is available for those who might benefit during the outdoor experience. Each situation depends on individual ability and mobility.
How long should I plan for the experience?
The actual journey takes about twenty minutes. The wait in church before your guided trip begins can be an hour or more, depending on the crowd—but don’t worry, everyone who comes into the church will be able to go through the experience.
While you wait, enjoy singing and listening to traditional Christmas carols. After the journey, you’re invited to visit our school for refreshments and fellowship. Planning your entire evening around the event is highly recommended.
Is there a charge?
There is no cost to visit the Living Nativity. We gladly accept free-will offerings, which help support the presentation. Naturally, there are expenses involved, and recent gifts that helped pave the path are deeply appreciated.
The Living Nativity is our church’s gift to you, offered out of love for the Savior—so that you may know about God’s greatest Gift: His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
